God of War Ragnarok He’ll be making some very important changes to Kratos’ equipment, choosing to create a more refined and engaging experience in the process. God of War Ragnarok It’s shaping up to be the biggest game of 2022 due to the massive success of its predecessor and the hype behind this sequel. The first look at the game appeared on the web last fall, and while it looked great, many pointed out that it was somewhat identical in look and mechanics to the game that preceded it. Of course, there’s the old saying “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”, but many wonder what the big changes between these two games are outside of the new story.

It looks as large and versatile as the first game, but Kratos’ equipment has gotten an upgrade. If players press the triangle, it will allow them to perform a signature move intended for the specific weapon they are holding. Kratos can “soak” his weapons with ice or fire, tied to the Leviathan Ice Axe or the Blades of Chaos. Weapons will freeze or incinerate enemies with this movement, allowing for more variety and gadgets to use in combat. Kratos also has two new armor known as Dauntless and Stonewall. The first is used for dodge, allowing players to stun and quickly throw enemies with a “devastating smash”. The latter is used much more defensively, absorbing blows to build up kinetic energy that can then be used to keep enemies off their feet. The shield can also become unstable and make Kratos vulnerable to other attacks.
needless to say, God of War Ragnarok It seeks to make the already exciting combat of the first game more exciting and strategic. It’s unclear if Kratos will get any other new weapons, but it seems like it’s not beyond the realm of possibilities. Game Informer has also confirmed that it will get new screenshots of the game in the coming weeks, but did not say when.
